Located in Berkeley Heights, NJ ALIGN Pharmaceuticals, LLC was founded in 2005 and launched its first three products in January 2006 for the treatment of radiation dermatitis and xerostomia (dry mouth). These products provide relief to cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy or chemotherapy and patients suffering from Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that causes dry mouth symptoms. ALIGN Pharmaceuticals, LLC was acquired by Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (www.cyclacel.com) in October 2007.
